They cancelled my trip at the last minute and still haven’t refunded me. I arranged and paid for a safari for early January. As the date approached, I hadn’t heard anything and began to worry. After 3-4 emails and WhatsApp messages, they finally replied to say they had to cancel my reservation and would refund me later. They haven’t answered any of my emails since.

The whole trip was easy and effortless, and we were dropped off in Tangalle at the end. Master campers picked us up in Ella and took us to Ulawadewe, where we saw about 30 elephants. After that we stayed at a lodge in Bundala, which was clean and comfortable. Their hospitality was first class, and you should arrive hungry because they feed you well. Then we went to Yala, which was quite a different experience. We saw a leopard and lots of birdlife there. Both national parks were excellent, and I’m glad we visited both. Our guide was incredible and so helpful. Master campers did an outstanding job. Highly recommended.

We visited both parks in April after booking a stay at Master Campers’ Bundala Nature Lodge, between Udawalawe and Yala. I’m really glad we went to each, since seeing the animals was quite different at the two parks. Master campers arranged our pickup from Ella and provided an excellent guide for the whole trip. They’d thought through every little detail, and their hospitality was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly. We ate very well, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and cosy. I highly recommend Master campers for a national parks trip. They really care about making sure you have a good time, and it’s excellent value for money.

My wife and I had a safari booked with Master Campers for December. They cancelled our visit because of Cyclone Ditwah and said they would refund us. We gave them the bank details for a wire transfer, but no money has come through. I’ve contacted Master Campers several times by email and WhatsApp and haven’t received a response.
