The small bungalow was tucked into beautiful nature. There were some animals and insects around, as you'd expect, but the beds had mosquito nets and the room had air conditioning, so it wasn't an issue for us. We even spotted little monkeys and different birds right by the bungalow. The staff were super friendly and sorted out our safari for a very fair price. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and they packed tasty sandwiches and drinks for our early safari start. Such a beautiful stay, highly recommended!

The place has so much character, and it was peaceful, surrounded by nature. I felt at ease straight away. The hosts were warm, kind, and genuinely helpful from the moment I arrived. I'd recommend staying as long as you can. Thanks again for everything!

At the Blue Sapphire, the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. They helped us get around, cooked us a lovely dinner, and arranged the best safari trip at the Udawalaw National Park. The rooms were comfortable and the setting peaceful. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

This was easily the best stay I had anywhere in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredible and made sure I had a great time. The air conditioning is very strong, and the water gets warm. They can arrange a safari at a great price too. One thing to mention, all their food and dinners are made with ingredients from their own garden. No artificial flavors at all, and some of the best meals I had. I couldn't recommend this resort enough.
