Breakfast on the terrace, with the sea in view and the sunrise coming up, was a lovely way to start the day. There was a good range of food, including fruit, vegetables, pastries, hot dishes, and local specialties. The hotel also had a sandy beach with loungers and umbrellas that was tidy and not crowded, plus water sports and equipment rentals, a pool, spa, and several cozy cafes. Our room was bright, spacious, and very clean, with comfortable furniture and a modern look. It had air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, and free Wi-Fi that worked perfectly. Housekeeping came daily without interrupting us. From the window, we could see the sea stretching out to the horizon, and hear the waves, which made for a really relaxing atmosphere. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. Reception answered questions quickly and helped arrange excursions and transfers. The location was handy too, with shops, local restaurants, and coastal walking paths within walking distance. We spent a few days here and were very happy with our choice. It’s a peaceful spot for a comfortable seaside break, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the sea.

Kamal, the manager, was always polite, attentive, and happy to help with whatever we needed. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Amor Beach Unawatuna is a small, peaceful, cozy hotel in a beautifully restored colonial-era building, with the charm and spirit of its earlier days still there. We really enjoyed our stay.

I’d give this hotel 10 out of 10 🧡🥰. The views are incredibly beautiful, and it feels like a chance to be surrounded by real nature. There’s a private pool with lights, so you can swim at night too 🏊‍♀️. The staff are the friendliest I’ve ever come across. Nearby, there are bays for calm swimming, along with restaurants and shops. An unforgettable vacation at the end of the earth 🧡🧡🧡
