Crescent Resort

Unawatuna has really good prices for accommodation and food compared with Galle Fort, which is just a 15-minute tuk tuk ride away. There’s also a great pool for a refreshing swim, two gyms nearby, and plenty of local places to eat. The standard room and deluxe room cost almost the same, so I treated myself to the deluxe. It’s a good budget hotel, and Kiser, the manager, made sure I had a fabulous stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Much respect to Kiser for looking after me.

The service was good and the staff were very friendly. It’s a good place, though a few rooms are so small there’s hardly any space.

The pool was lovely and well cared for, and it was fun watching monkeys in the trees. We stayed four nights, left, then came back for another stretch. Crescent Resort is well run, with a friendly manager, hardworking staff, clean rooms, and awesome breakfasts. Thanks for a great stay.

For the price, this is one of the best places in Unawatuna. The rooms are average but clean, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and good. The pool is really cool and clean. I got the feeling they don’t use chemicals, though they still keep it clean. I’m giving four stars because of the food. Don’t order from them: it comes from outside, and we were served something different from what we ordered.
