From the hilltop, the hotel has lovely views and Kandy Lake is nearby. The setting stays cool, the staff are very good, and the place is well organized. Breakfast was good too, and room service was superb. A perfect stay.

It’s about a 200-metre walk to the beach, which is a real plus. The hotel provides a mosquito net, giving the room a honeymoon-like feel for couples. If you’re looking for value, it’s worth considering for one night.

We were placed here by Daya tours and Traveltriangle, and I wonder who else would partner with a place like this. The stairs leading up are rickety, the WiFi is poor, and there’s no TV or fridge. It’s just okay for one night if you can’t find anywhere else.
