Jungle Village By Thawthisa

I’ve tried a lot of jungle eco lodges across Asia, and Jungle Village is my favourite. It’s comfortable, and having a pool makes it easy to cool off and relax when you don’t feel like going out. One of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Jungle Village with my wife. The reception was very accommodating when I asked to stay past checkout, since our flight home wasn’t until the evening. The owner clearly takes pride in making guests comfortable and happy, stopping by to chat with people dining at the restaurant. From arrival on, the place felt elegant and invigorating. Thanks.

The food was awesome, with lots of delicious choices on the menu, and the pool was excellent and relaxing. Jungle Village Unawatuna sits in a superb, nature-filled spot, with an eco-friendly design that fits beautifully into the jungle. Our high-quality room had excellent facilities and a stunning jungle view. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Waruni deserves a special mention for her outstanding service and care with our requests. She’s truly a gift to the hotel. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it for a peaceful, memorable getaway. 🌿✨

The calm atmosphere and lush greenery made Jungle Village Unawatuna feel like a peaceful tropical escape, with chances to relax by the pool, enjoy nature or explore nearby attractions. Our rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, and the food was fresh, flavorful and delicious, served with lovely presentation. The meals brought together Sri Lankan flavors and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home. They were attentive, friendly and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their service was exceptional throughout our stay, and the care showed in the clean rooms and resort grounds. It felt like a hidden gem in the heart of Unawatuna. Can’t wait to come back!
