Hotel Millenium

Mosquitoes kept me awake all night, and there was no water in the shower. The washroom was unimaginable, everything smelled, and these were the filthiest rooms I’ve ever seen. What a disgusting place.

The owner was really friendly and accommodating, and the prices were reasonable. I loved relaxing on the balcony and looking out at Nuwara Wewa Lake. It was such a peaceful, picturesque view to wake up to each morning. There’s ample parking too, which made things convenient. I had an excellent stay and highly recommend this guesthouse.

The setting beside the lake is beautiful, and there’s a kitchen available if you’d like to cook your own meals. The owner is friendly and flexible. For what I paid, the facilities were reasonable, though the bathroom could use some improvement.

I keep choosing this place when I stay overnight in Anuradhapura. The rooms are clean and the service is friendly. I find the AC rooms a little better than the Non AC ones. There are also a few huts facing the stunning view of Nuwara Weva, a nice spot for drinks with friends or family at night. I can recommend it.
