It’s a short walk to the beach, and the rooms are pretty large and comfortable for the low price. The food is good too. There aren’t many staff, just one chef, one manager and a few helpers, but they were all friendly and supportive. There are a few tables by the pool if you want to have some shots.
The hotel is just 100m from the beach, and the surroundings are peaceful and pleasant. The pool is well maintained, and the rooms are nice and comfortable for the price. Staff are friendly too. Food is too expensive, though, with Sri Lankan breakfast at 800 per person.
There’s a lot the business needs to improve, starting with reception. The receptionist didn’t seem properly trained to welcome clients and help develop the business. She couldn’t confirm when the previous guests would be leaving the room, even though checkout time had passed and more time had gone by. Very bad management.
The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the service was really friendly. It’s a cool, quiet spot very close to Wadduwa beach. The cook turns in around 9 pm, but at about 1000 LKR per person, roughly 5 euros with the promotion, I thought it was worth it.
There’s a huge banquet hall with carpet throughout, and the swimming pool is fantastic, especially the kids’ pool. The food was great too, and the hospitality lovely.
