The facilities at the hotel are impressive, and the food and views were good. We also enjoyed the pool, which felt like a calm place to unwind. Umasha made a big difference to our stay by listening to our concerns, sorting things out quickly, and arranging a late checkout. Without her help, I think we would have left much less satisfied. Getting started was frustrating. Some guests received refreshing towels on arrival, but our group didn't and had to ask. The rooms we'd requested weren't ready on time either, so we had to wait before checking in. The welcome staff came across as inexperienced and inconsistent. I think the hotel should put more into staff training and service. Aitken Spence has invested a lot in the building and its amenities, and stronger service standards would make the guest experience much better.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and quick to help, and we had a very good stay at Turyaa Kalutara on a full board basis. Our room was roomy and comfortable, so it was easy to relax. There weren't many food options at some points, but what was served was fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend the hotel for an easy, pleasant getaway. 🥰

Jayaneka deserves a mention for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. We enjoyed every meal, and Mr Thilina, F&B Manager, was humble and personally checked on us and looked after us. The beach view, greenery, courts, and pool made the hotel feel relaxing. Our room was spacious and clean, and the natural flowers and leaves arranged on the bed were a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful one-night full board stay at Turyaa Kalutara, with friendly staff who greeted us with genuine smiles.

Hiruni from reservations was a big reason we had such a wonderful time at Turyaa Hotel. She was attentive, polite, and did more than expected to make sure we were looked after. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.

Shakila at the front desk made our check-in smooth and pleasant. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and clearly cared about the guests. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Hotel Turyaa. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. The staff also sorted our request to switch from twin beds to one large bed without any hassle. I'd happily recommend the hotel and hope to visit again.
