Blue Beach

We stayed one night with friends on 27th Feb and booked 02 rooms. The rooms were good, but the service was very poor, and we wouldn’t come back. The dining hall was hot during the day because its AC didn’t work properly. There was no drinking water out in the dining area, so we had to ask for it and wait while staff fetched it from the kitchen. At the buffet, some dishes had partly broken handles, and the toaster was broken even though staff knew about it. We had to ask them separately for toasted bread. The food was very basic and had no taste. We ordered pepper pork as a bite with drinks but got pork curry instead. When we pointed it out, staff took the curry away, removed the gravy, then brought back the same pork curry without gravy, still not the pepper pork we had ordered. We also heard some foreign guests discussing the poor taste and quality of the food.

Think twice before coming here. The lunch buffet didn’t have enough food, and when they topped it up 10-15 mins later, it didn’t taste as good as before. The pool seemed to have too much chlorine. A few kids got itchy, and our poolwears changed colour. Only one staff member was actively serving guests. The place wasn’t clean, and tea and snacks were terrible, with ants and dirty cups. There was no sosar at all. I’ll attach some photos.

The room was large and looked out over the garden and beach, and breakfast cooked to order was very good. It’s a beautiful beach location and good value for the money. The bed was soft and well used, and there were hot water problems. The hotel needs refurbishing, which is why I’ve scored it lower. Still, for the cost, it was a good stay.

Dinner was okay, though it took about 45 minutes to reach our room. Breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent, and the price was great value. Our room, 204, was spacious, clean, and decent. One ceiling light blinked in sequence, which was pretty annoying once all the other lights were off. Everything else was okay.
