The owner welcomed us warmly and was kind, attentive and helpful from the start. They even arranged a transfer to Negombo for a very reasonable price, which we really appreciated. The pool area is spacious and nicely designed, with comfy loungers and places to sit and unwind. Our room was roomy, well furnished and had its own fridge and private bathroom. If you aren't expecting five-star luxury, which wouldn't be realistic here, you'll be very happy. It has what you need for a pleasant, relaxing stay, close to the beach, and is run with genuine care. We'd happily return and recommend it.

Anusha and her family were so friendly and helped us with everything. They arranged a tuk-tuk and our trip to Yala National Park. The driver was eager to show us all the animals, and even brought snacks and water, which we really appreciated. The beach, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Our room was clean, the AC worked very well, and we always had fresh towels and an extra bedsheet. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with fresh fruit on the side. I’d highly recommend staying here. The owners and whole hotel team made the atmosphere wonderful with their energy and smiles. The food was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable, with big bathrooms and good beds. The beach, restaurants and shops are just around the corner. Everything was perfect. Thanks so much, and we hope to see you soon.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Bienvenideo hotel in Madiha so much that this was our second visit in three years. The owners and staff are extremely friendly, and service is quick. The pool is very clean, and breakfast was really good: toast, tea or coffee, jam, butter, a fruit plate and yogurt. The beach for bathing is about a two-minute walk away. The hotel can arrange sunset fishing and whale-watching tours, and it’s family-friendly. The bathroom could be in better condition, although the ones in the newer rooms are excellent. Water pressure on the top floors should also be improved.
