The surf lessons with Shannon, who’s both the instructor and host, were a real highlight. I had a great week at Sea Life Guest House, with lovely rooms, tasty food, and a cozy, laid-back feel throughout. I’d happily recommend it and stay again when I’m back in Sri Lanka.
Shannon was the best surf guide I’ve ever had, and I’ve surfed with quite a few. His advice helped me correct things no one had picked up on before. Imke and Shannon make you feel at home in their little guesthouse, right across the road from the beach and surf. The cafe is top notch, with a coffee machine, handmade food, and an environmentally friendly approach. Thanks, guys, I really loved staying with you.
For a good coffee or a healthy bowl, the cafe is the place to go. The rooms are clean and lovely, with AC, a hot shower, and a balcony. Shannon is the man to see if you want to improve your surfing. His guiding is the best I’ve found in Sri Lanka, and he explains things incredibly clearly and in depth. I’ll definitely come back.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Life Guest House. The hosts were kind and helpful, and we had a comfy room. Downstairs, the cafe was a nice place to relax during the day, with delicious food and drinks. We also took two fantastic surf lessons, full of tips and information tailored to our level. 🤗🤩
Shannon and Imke made the place feel like home, and even helped us stay longer when our original plan was just two nights. We ended up spending three nights at Sea Life Guest House, and loved it so much it’s hard to put into words. The rooms are lovely and completely clean, and everything worked perfectly. They’re both so sweet and helpful. Make sure you try their excellent coffee. We hope to return!
