The host was very kind, and the price was good. There's a nice kitchen, clean bathrooms and comfy beds. The street is quiet, with easy access to both Weligama town and the beach.

I really enjoyed my stay at Royal Resort. The rooms were super clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked being in an authentic neighborhood. I'd stay there again :)

The owner was really friendly, and the place was great value. We had plenty of privacy, plus a basic kitchen with a stove, cooking utensils, and a mini fridge. Our room was on the third floor, so there were lots of stairs. There was only one fan and no A/C, which was just about enough on the cooler day we stayed. Cleanliness could use some attention.

For the price, the room is decent and the location is good. The kitchen wasn't clean or very nice, and the internet was down most of the time. There's only cold water, too, so it's a good budget option if you're okay with that.
