The heat was the main thing that would stop me staying longer, unless you can find a way to deal with it. Apart from that, it was a pretty nice place to stay. It’s definitely not a resort, but we’ve had much worse rooms on this trip.
The beach is only about three minutes away on foot, and there’s a good, inexpensive bar across the street for a drink or a bite to eat. The homestay is run by a kind family, with very clean rooms and a lovely garden. We really liked it!

I come here quite often because it’s convenient. The owner is friendly and speaks English well, and the rooms are very affordable. You get a proper homestay experience.
