Sameera was always there to help. He even took us around Weligama to look for scotters. And the breakfasts were by far the best I've had while travelling, now a year in. Each day there was something different, local, and tasty, with a good amount to eat. We've had Sri Lankan pancakes, curry, and egg hoppers, among many other breakfasts. I've attached a photo of one of them.

We planned to stay ten days and ended up living here for a month. The host family were friendly without being intrusive. Sameera drove us from the city several times, including once when he happened to meet us on the road. Here you really feel like a guest instead of a client, which means a lot. It's a quiet, peaceful place, not suited to party groups or noisy crowds. Our room was clean, with a big bed and ceiling fans in the room and on the terrace. We only turned on the AC to check it worked. There's a huge kitchen with an incredible amount of tableware, and a cozy yard with mongooses, monitor lizards, birds, and palm squirrels.

The room has everything you might need for a stay, including a big bed, air conditioner, shower, and big mirror. There's also a shared kitchen with a fridge where people can cook. I booked for just a week, but meeting Sameera and his family made me decide to stay much longer. Love this place!

A really nice family villa with clean, roomy rooms and an amazing host. Sameera was so helpful and hospitable, and I really want to recommend the place. It has everything you might need, including A/C, small household appliances, and breakfast.
