The rooftop terrace was a lovely place for breakfast, which was good and generous. The staff were kind and helped us arrange a transfer back. We booked two different room categories; one had a sea view, and both rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with comfortable beds and a well maintained temperature. The beachfront location puts you right in front of the main surf camps and clubs, between the two sides of the bay. The bathroom was simple and not fully up to Western standards, though it was very clean. Some traffic noise came through because the windows aren’t soundproof. Still, it felt like good value, with friendly service and fair prices. I’d recommend it for a surf focused holiday with decent comfort and an authentic local feel.

The deluxe double was spacious, comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. It’s right by weligama beach and the surf schools. We also enjoyed the breakfast and coffee, and the staff were friendly and ready to help when we needed it. Highly recommend!

We had a large sea view room, right on the beach and near lots of great restaurants. The location was great, but it was incredibly noisy until about 1am. A few other things to know: the blinds don’t block the morning light, so it gets very bright early. Rooms are apparently cleaned every three days, but ours wasn’t cleaned during our five day stay. When we asked on day four, they did give us extra toilet paper and towels. They don’t provide drinking water in the rooms or even a place to refill bottles, which felt very strange. We’ve been traveling for four months, and this was the first hotel that didn’t offer water that way.

The hotel restaurant does a really good breakfast, especially the coffee. I had a great stay, and the dorms were comfortable, clean, and had air conditioning. Laundry is available for 750 rupees per kg.

The location, right in front of the beach, was nice, and we were happy with the service 😌. The room and washroom were very clean, and the environment was calm. We had an AC room for one day.
