Thomasha Homestay

Thomasha made getting around easy, picking me up and dropping me at the bus stops for free. He also took me by tuk tuk to see the historic stone Buddha statues and nearby lake, and shared good suggestions for waterfalls in the area. The homestay was cozy, with clean rooms that stayed cool even with just a fan. I was treated to delicious home-cooked rice and curry too. Such a lovely stay, thanks so much ❤️

I spent nine days here, and the owner was kind enough to share fruit from his garden. It's an affordable place to stay in wellawaya, and I'd recommend it.

For the price, I thought it was great. Thomasha was a really nice host and did his best to help with everything. The rooms could use a bit of renovation, though. 😊
