The staff at the shop where we ordered ski equipment did an incredible job. Service elsewhere could use some improvement, and the place should invest in winter sheets for the area's extreme cold.

I booked through Booking and cancelled an hour later because I couldn't find any transport to get there. They showed no mercy and charged me a fortune, even though I clicked the cancel button. Was it really that hard to understand what I was saying?

The rooms are small, but enough for sleeping, and cooking in the evening gives the place a cozy, homey feel. It's a good budget option for visiting Afriski. The walls are thin, though, and students often return from the bar late, so light sleepers should bring earbuds. Bring pots and pans if you need them. The kitchen has a convection oven and gas stove plates.

My kids liked ice skating so, so much.
