The staff were friendly and tried to help, but I wouldn’t recommend this guest house, especially for families with children like ours. We had no water pressure during the three days, and the toilet leaked. There was no hot water either. We later found out that the cleaning staff turned off the water at the mains while cleaning and didn’t turn it back on. The room was still uncleaned two hours after we arrived, and there were no towels or toilet paper. After we asked several times for towels on day two, we were given wet ones.

I attended a seminar there. The indoor area was comfortable, with clean toilets and a tidy environment. There’s plenty of green space outside for anyone who likes the outdoors, and it’s easy to reach by public transport.

We left earlier than planned, angry and hungry. The next morning we were told breakfast wouldn’t be served because we hadn’t told them the day before, though nobody had given us any information about that. Before leaving, they also asked us to pay again for the previous night. We couldn’t show our Airbnb payment confirmation because there was no network. The property is near a cemetery, too. When we arrived, nobody was there to welcome us except a guard who couldn’t speak a word of English, so we couldn’t get any information. There was no Wi-Fi, despite it being advertised. A little later, that same guard came into the room where the two of us women were staying to retrieve money he’d left under our pillows. It felt extremely unprofessional. I’d say stay away.

The staff are friendly, especially Me' Mpho at reception. There’s plenty of parking and a conference facility, and the rooms have a small fridge, heater, microwave, kettle, and coffee and tea. They can provide extra two point plugs if you ask, but there’s no phone in the rooms. Wi-Fi is free, though the signal is weak in some areas. It’s about 10 Km's from town and the CBD, with roughly 500 meters of gravel road from the tar road. The road is in good condition, but directions could be sign-posted better. There’s an electric gate and visible security. It’s a clean facility at a reasonable price, though it’s not an upmarket B&B.

The food was fresh and nice, and the rooms were beautiful and picturesque. We felt at home from the warm welcome.
