Druspolis

Built in 1900, the house is named after Mrs. Grudzinskaja. Between the wars it was known as Grudzinskaja's villa "Dvorek". In 1941 it was nationalized and given to the Small Branch Industrial Cooperative of the Belarusian SSR. Later, it housed the resort polyclinic and its laboratory. It’s a beautiful building right in the center of Druskininkai, directly opposite Maxima, and is protected as a state cultural heritage object. I haven’t been inside, so I can’t say how comfortable it is to live there.

There wasn’t anywhere to park, so you have to find a spot yourself when you arrive. Inside, the shower hose was broken, unusable in +28 weather, and the windows were dirty. The old furniture and general dinginess, plus a fridge that was filthy on top, made a poor impression. The dirty towels left for us were the last straw. It felt like a homeless hostel. The building is in bad shape and needs repairs.

Everything went smoothly, and I have no complaints. I really liked the guesthouse and its great location. I’d recommend it, 10/10.

The price is good, and the surroundings are beautiful, with a great location. But there were insects. After sleeping at this hotel, both me and the person sharing my room were bitten by bedbugs and/or other insects. I’m allergic to them and am now under constant medical supervision. I can’t recommend it.
