We had a good stay in a lovely place right in the city center. But after we moved out in August, they still hadn’t returned our deposit, which was worth two months’ rent, by December. It was booked for a long-term stay, so be prepared for the possibility of this happening.

I stayed for a full month in this place in the heart of Kaunas centre and had a pleasant time. It was easy to get help from the hosts, who responded quickly whenever I had a question. The apartment was nicely furnished, and its little kitchen had all the appliances and utensils I needed. There wasn’t a washing machine in the apartment, but there’s a laundry service on the third floor of the same building. The complex felt secure and was kept in good condition, and the reliable Wi-Fi meant I could work remotely. I’d recommend it for a short visit or a longer stay.

The room was clean, and having a bathtub made for a relaxing stay. There’s a supermarket close by, too. Getting there was the frustrating part: we arrived late, found the gate by the nearest street shut, and got confused by the two entrances to the room. It took us an hour to find it. The room was on the top floor, so hauling luggage up and down was exhausting.

It felt like being at home, and the apartment was both cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils, plus spices, oil, and those little things that come in handy. The staff were kind, helpful, and quick to answer. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back.
