The rooms were fairly clean and comfortable, and pets were welcome. Parking was very tight, and there were a few ants around the balcony-terrace area. The biggest concern, though, was the owner, Biruta. She was controlling and didn't seem to respect our personal space. We were out all day and later found out she'd entered the apartment we were renting without our knowledge or consent. Since she lives on site, we felt watched constantly, which was uncomfortable and distressing. She had rules about how guests should behave, and whenever we crossed paths, she'd lecture us about what we were doing wrong. That lack of trust and constant supervision left us stressed, worrying about breaking something or even walking too loudly while trying to enjoy our holiday. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful, private vacation.
