The tucked-away beach is a nicer, quieter spot, and there's also a restaurant and bar overlooking the lake and main beach, away from the camping area. We paid €46 a night in early August for two adults, two children, a car, and two tents. Reception was professional, though a warmer greeting would have been nice. Some pitches flood badly in heavy rain, so I'd choose one of the higher spots on the three-level grounds. Take the final narrow, winding road to the campground very slowly. Local drivers seemed to speed along it, and a car nearly hit us on a blind turn. If we'd been going faster, one of us could have gone over the unguarded edge into the lake.

The site sits right beside a gorgeous clear lake, with plenty of room to park a car or caravan. There are lots of things to do, including beach volleyball, basketball, and sailboat or SUP rentals. The shared toilets and other facilities, though, fell short of what I'd expect at a four-star place, and that takes away from the experience. If it's on your route and not packed with locals, it's still worth stopping.

I only ate at the restaurant. The lake views are lovely, and the Wagyu burger was fantastic, even if it was a bit more done than I like. A pleasant place for lunch or dinner, or a day out. You can also stay in a camper-van or at their hotel.

The lake view was great, and the area felt really cozy. There was a bit more noise on our first night, but it didn't bother us. It was lovely being able to swim with our dog, and the beach is great for dogs. The upper parking area was quieter than the lower one, and its toilets and showers were in better shape. The facilities could use some updating.
