Artagonist Art Hotel

Right in central old Vilnius, this is a modern hotel with well-kept rooms. The bed is especially comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. Reception staff were friendly and very professional. The central location is the best part. I highly recommend it and plan to return.

The rooms are nicely decorated and reception staff are super friendly, but management needs to pay more attention to the property. The power in my room failed three times, and each time reception had to reset something. The same wiring issue seemed to set off the fire system power alarm during breakfast. For two mornings in a row the hot buffet food was stone cold, and the safe in my room didn't work. Vilnius has plenty of options, so I won't stay here again.

The location was perfect, and the room was quiet on a small cobblestone street. It was clean and well kept when I first walked in, the bed was comfy, and the shower was amazing. I've stayed in lots of hotels and would choose this one again in a heartbeat.

I don't think this hotel meets four-star standards. I mentioned in advance that I was staying for my birthday, but nobody acknowledged it. The first room was much too small and uncomfortable for two people. Reception initially said there were no other rooms, and only after I emailed did they offer one. The second was bigger, but the slanted ceiling was inconvenient. The rooms are very basic, with no wardrobe, no proper minibar, and no visible artwork even though the hotel is called an art hotel. The elevator doesn't reach every room, so you have to use the stairs. Breakfast was okay, but the selection was limited.
