Emi Apartment

The place is in a great spot, with a bus stop to the centre just a stone's throw away and a supermarket across the road. It's next to a main road, so there's some noise. Getting to the apartment can be awkward: its entrance is tucked into a dark parking lot behind the buildings, and it's hard to spot after dark. Inside, there's a narrow kitchen with all the basics and four separate private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The rooms were well looked after, and the walls blocked sound surprisingly well. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cozy and simple. A good budget option if you want easy access around town.

We were happy with our stay and would book the room again, though the rooms are very small. At night, I'd lock the door: on two mornings someone tried to open it without knocking. The apartment itself is really nice inside, but we nearly left because we couldn't find an entrance or reception. After a while a nice lady let us in and explained, using a mix of Lithuanian, Russian and English, where our room was and how to get into the house. I'm not sure whether parking in the backyard is possible, and wouldn't recommend it. The nearest free spaces we found were 600m away, so bring an umbrella.

I spent six nights there and was glad I chose Emi apartment. The flat or room was very clean, smelled lovely, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The self-check-in directions were clear and explained down to the smallest detail. Such a nice place.

Emi Apartment is just a few steps from a busy bus stop, with routes that can take you to every corner of the city. It's very close to the old city centre, though not right in it. Our stay was definitely nice, and the room was impeccably furnished. A little complimentary tea and coffee would have been a welcome addition.
