2/10
The location near the city centre was convenient, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. Beyond those positives, my stay fell well below what I expect from a 4-star hotel. The wardrobe was only about 35 cm wide, barely enough for one jacket. Furniture looked old and neglected, and a damp tissue turned dark when I wiped the dirty desk. The bed was so uncomfortable that I had noticeable back pain after sleeping on it. The duvet and towels smelled unpleasant, which made cleanliness seem poor. The room was cold at night, and with no bathroom heating, mornings were uncomfortable too. After I posted a negative review on the booking website, the hotel contacted me and offered a refund if I removed it. I agreed, but the money never came. That may explain why so many reviews for this property seem positive. The room's condition and upkeep were far below a 4-star standard. Better cleaning and maintenance, along with transparent management, could make the experience more reliable.

The room had all the basics I needed: a twin-size bed, ensuite washroom, towels, soap, coffee maker, fridge, and safe. The water pressure was good, and both the bed and pillow were very comfortable. My room was small, but fine for one person. There's also a little sauna and pool, though use costs €15, which seems odd. Still, you have to pay for public toilets in Europe, so what do you expect! It's an easy 25-minute walk from the train station, and the old town is close, with everything about ten minutes away. A great boutique hotel, highly recommended.

The bathroom is in very good shape, and the price is decent. The rooms, though, feel old and outdated. It all looks nice at first, but for a place rated four stars, it doesn't feel like it reaches three. I'd give it around 3.5 to 4 stars.

Getting around was easy: the old town is an eight-minute walk away, and there's a small supermarket about five minutes away on foot. I enjoyed staying at MABRE Residence. The staff were friendly, the service was great, and breakfast was excellent at just 15 Euros. Enjoy, it's worth it.

The staff even surprised my boyfriend with a bottle of prosecco for his birthday, which was so thoughtful. We had a nice view of the church and architecture from the room, and the outdoor area felt welcoming. The hotel is right in central Vilnius, within walking distance of the main city and old town spots. No disappointments, I'd definitely recommend it.
