A Booking.com reservation issue left us scrambling for somewhere to stay that night, with very little notice. We called at 9:30 pm, an awkward time to book, and they helped us right away with a solution. We were welcomed warmly and shown a room with a comfortable double bed and its own bathroom. There was also a lovely terrace outside. The walls let some noise from other guests through, which felt a bit odd. And charging devices was a hassle: we could only find two outlets, both in the bathroom.

The room had a strange smell. Maybe it hadn't been aired out, but I couldn't tell what caused it. There were stains on the bedding, possibly blood or something else, and the owner couldn't explain what they were or agree to replace it. She said it was fine and pointed out that it wasn't freshly bought in a store. If you can't keep white bedding clean, I think you should use dark bedding instead. I wouldn't recommend this place. The owner was angry and difficult to reason with, and wouldn't sort out even small problems.
