St. Palace Hotel

The hotel’s Old Town location made exploring Vilnius easy. The Gates of Dawn were only a couple of minutes away, and the Town Hall, train and bus stations, shops, restaurants, and other sights were all within walking distance. You don’t need public transport to get around from here. I liked the historic building and its renovated, elegant feel. Rooms are generally spacious and clean, with useful comforts like air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a minibar, and tea and coffee facilities. Some also have heated bathroom floors, king-size beds, or a balcony or terrace overlooking the Old Town. Staff are often described as friendly and attentive, and may arrange an upgrade when one is available. A couple of drawbacks came up: some rooms in the annex involve stairs, and the breakfast could offer more variety or be better in some areas, even though it’s usually considered good. Still, the overall feedback is very positive, with an average rating around 8.9/10.

Whenever I’m in Vilnius, I love staying here. The team is great and everything is well organized. It’s also perfectly placed in the Old Town, close to shops, bars, and restaurants.

I’ve been staying in the St Palace suite and really like it. It’s spacious, clean, and stylish, with a superb breakfast and very friendly staff.

We had a rental car and found the hotel’s paid parking convenient. There was a discount for a three-night stay. Parking in the Baltic capitals is expensive, and you don’t need a car in Vilnius. Since the hotel is in the heart of the Old Town, we could walk to everything, from Michelin-rated restaurants to the Museum of Occupation. We skipped the buffet and enjoyed finding breakfast cafes where we could watch people instead. Our room was comfortable and lovely, and we paid a little extra for what I think was a superior double with a balcony. It didn’t face the busy city, but we liked seeing church rooftops and other architecture. The bathroom was nice too, though a handrail would have helped because the bathtub was high.
