The room was okay, with a shower, air conditioning, and toilet, and the reception staff were friendly. But I couldn't find any sign saying Tanagra Hotel, only Motel, and I was told the pool and sauna were unavailable because of Covid. Breakfast was just pancakes, so I drove about 1 km to the Ibis Hotel to eat. There were lots of truckers and construction workers staying here.

We had a wonderful time at the sauna on a rainy day. It came with a large pool, a jacuzzi, and two steam rooms, which we rented. The hostess was warm and welcoming, the staff were helpful, and everything was clean and tidy.

The food was good and the staff were reasonable. A bed costs 10 euros, while a typical cafe bill is 5-8 euros and a set lunch is 4.5 euros. The rooms are cozy, and overall it’s good value for money.

The staff speak very little English, and getting around means taking a taxi since there’s no other transport available. The hotel is pleasant and affordable, though it’s not very close to the city center.
