Vilnius City Hotel

Breakfast was very good for a three-star hotel, which was a nice surprise. The location is great, close to the station and not far from the city center. Still, the thin walls meant we could hear everything, and the neighbors talking on the phone made it almost impossible to sleep. The rooms are a bit old and could use renovation. We were there for my dad's birthday, and when I asked about a small gesture, staff said, “We're a three-star hotel; we don't do that.” We weren't expecting champagne, but a little attention would've been appreciated. Small things like that can help guests feel valued and encourage better reviews.

The reception lady was very nice, but the place itself was dirty, disgusting, and smelly. There was dust everywhere, dirty carpets, lamps falling down, and broken showers. Breakfast was either overcooked or not cooked through; little flies were around the fruit, there was no juice, and the coffee tasted like it came from socks washed in dirty water. Definitely not three stars.

The staff were amazing and gave good feedback, but the breakfast was so bad I wouldn't recommend it. For that money, you can find much better. The people working there said they were just doing their jobs and that the chef knew about the situation.

The staff were nice and helpful, and I liked the breakfast, but the problems outweighed the good parts. The rooms aren't well insulated, so you hear everything next door. The Wi-Fi didn't work properly, and when we asked for two room cards, only one worked.
