The decor is a little dated, but I was comfortable and enjoyed the buffet breakfast, especially the stuffed pancakes and range of vegetables. The artwork downstairs feels like its own small exhibition. The hotel is close to the park and not too far from the nearest bus stop.

The room decor and equipment took me straight back to the 80s. Service was poor too: I couldn't get a wine opener sent to my room because, apparently, both of the hotel's openers were needed at the bar. An easy fix that could improve the rating.

There was a restaurant event with SUPER LOUD MUSIC until 1am, and I could hear it on the 12th floor. When I asked reception, she didn't seem to care. I said I'd call the police, and she told me I could. A horrible experience. Don't book unless you don't mind losing sleep.

Our room was dirty, but after we complained at reception they let us switch to a cleaner one. The hotel overall is dated and needs an upgrade. There are few services on site: the bar closes at 10pm, and there's nowhere to get coffee or a late-night snack. I won't stay here again.

The staff make each visit feel warm and easy. Everyone was so friendly and polite, and the attention to detail really stood out. The hotel itself is cozy and well cared for, with clean, comfortable rooms arranged thoughtfully. I also loved being right by a beautiful park, and the outdoor restaurant is a lovely place to relax and enjoy good food. It feels almost like home.
