It’s a comfortable, well-equipped apartment with one room, a great double bed and a sofa that opens into another double bed. There’s a shopping mall nearby, and Uber is really affordable in the city. The location isn’t ideal if you’re planning to visit the tourist sights.

The cathedral is right across the street, with the large Panorama shopping center across the way and the central pedestrian street just over the bridge. The building is in a historic wooden part of the city. Inside, the interior and amenities are top-notch, and the hostess is very pleasant and welcoming. This is the best private hotel I’ve stayed in during five years of regular travel around Europe.

You can sit in the garden, and it’s handy having the car right under the window. The apartments have a separate entrance, are modernly furnished and clean, with everything needed to live like at home. It’s a quiet place near the center and Old Town.
