Hotel St Fiacre

I only booked this place because it was near a meeting the next day, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise and very good value. The staff were kind and attentive. My room was clean and well maintained, with a very good rain shower. The area was quiet; when I opened the windows in the morning, I could hear cows and enjoy the view over the hills. Breakfast was good. I arrived in the evening and didn't have dinner, though I'd be surprised if it weren't fine. Four stars because it's not the most luxurious hotel. Yes, recommended!

The service was really good, and they made us feel welcome. They even let us park our motorbikes in the private garage. Our room was spacious, clean, and had very comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine, though it could have had a bit more variety. We also loved that food and drinks were served on the outdoor terrace. Thanks a lot, guys!

The dinners felt rather simple to us. The ready-made, frozen vegetables and soups were quite similar from one meal to the next. I'd suggest choosing à la carte instead of the standard included menu, since those options have more variety and more interesting meat dishes. The dinner choices are French-style and mostly meat-focused; we didn't try the vegan or vegetarian options. One note: the beds are quite short, so I wouldn't recommend them for anyone taller than 1.85 m. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was easy to access and had its own parking spaces. The owners were flexible and helped us find the best stay options.

Other guests were so loud and behaved as if they owned the place, which was unfortunate. We still enjoyed our stay in the end. The staff were friendly, the beds were good, and the Wi-Fi was okay, though the pillows weren't great. Dinner and breakfast were good too.
