ibis Esch Belval

I stayed here for Lorde’s concert at Rockhal, which is literally a 1 min walk from the hotel. The two reception staff that day were very nice. My room was clean enough and spacious enough for me, and would have been fine for two people as well. I'd gladly stay again. There’s a cute bar in the lobby, plus tables for dining guests. My booking included free breakfast, but I had to leave early and couldn't make it, since breakfast starts at 6:30. Belval Gare is a 2 minute walk away, with a direct connection to Luxembourg Gare.

The room was basic, with a small bathroom pod, and maybe the building used to be an office. Still, it felt fair for the price. The bed was nice, and we had an incredibly nice receptionist who quickly offered to bring us two blankets to replace the big one.

For a night or two, this is an okay place to sleep and pretty much what you'd expect from an Ibis. The room was quite small and had no fridge or coffee maker, and the bathroom could use renovation. The breakfast was decent, and the location is very good, with lots of restaurants, shops and other conveniences nearby.

It's a good option for this price range. I stayed for 4 days, and the hand soap wasn't refilled for 2 days, so I had to use the shower soap. The bathroom/toilet door was broken and wouldn't close. Breakfast was basic, really only worth it if you're there for business and need something quick in the morning.
