The only good part of my stay was the kind reception staff. I stayed three nights but was charged for six at checkout, including a double charge during online check-in. There was also a deposit fee that I assume they’ll return, but it was still blocked because of the holiday, plus a broken Oral-B io toothbrush. The bathroom had no space, and it seemed easy to break things while cleaning. This feels more related to the room than the staff, but there was zero sense of responsibility for any of it. The heating didn’t work at all. I didn’t feel secure either, with the entrance locked after 22:00 and the room door not closing by itself, so I had to push it shut every time I left. I don’t know how a hotel with these conditions gets a 4-star rating. On 20/05/2026, the seventh day, I still hadn’t received my 380 EUR back, charged because of the property’s technical issues.

I had to head out early for my flight, and the staff put together a breakfast to take with me. The hotel is modern and pleasantly small, just a few minutes on foot from the train station. My ground-floor room looked onto a little courtyard. Luckily nobody used it, since otherwise it could have felt a bit exposed.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to get around from here. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the staff were helpful. The shower and facilities are good quality, though anyone with mobility challenges may find the layout difficult to manage. This is a practical, mid-range choice near the central station and airport, but sleep was a problem for me. The street has music and performances into the late evening, and the curtains don’t block the streetlights, so light came into the room all night. A room away from the street or an eye mask might help. It’s a shame, since the hotel is convenient and reasonably priced, but it wasn’t restful.

The location is the hotel’s strongest point, and the reception staff were polite and helpful. Still, for the price, the maintenance needs attention. The water pressure was low, so showers and rinsing took longer. We could hear other rooms’ toilet flushes every few seconds through the night, probably because something was broken. The bed squeaked enough that even a small movement woke the other person. Our fourth-floor ceiling was low, so you had to watch your head. The hand soap and facial tissues both ran out during our one-night stay. There were no spare pillows, which was a real problem for me because I need extra pillows for a health issue. I’ve never encountered another hotel that couldn’t provide them. One odd bathroom detail: the toilet paper holder is directly below the soap dispenser, so wet, soapy hands can soak the paper. The expensive interior gives the impression that the hotel aims for upscale, but function matters more. If the Ibis next door is available, I’d choose it for the lower price.
