Villa Pétrusse

I’ve had few Relais & Châteaux stays as fine as this one. Villa Pétrusse is elegant and understated, but also full of warmth and soul, a real hidden gem in Luxembourg. The garden has a magical feel and looks out over one of the country’s most spectacular views. The refined décor and lovely details make the whole villa feel charming and full of good taste. The team made my stay unforgettable, going above and beyond in all sorts of little ways. The hospitality felt so genuine and attentive that I felt cared for beyond expectation, almost like a six star experience. At dinner, Rafael looked after me and shared lovely stories about the place’s history. Quentin at the concierge was kind and thoughtful about the details, which made everything easy.

The only thing that fell short was breakfast, which didn’t quite match the high standard of everything else. The rooms were spotless, spacious, modern, and well maintained, and the welcoming, professional staff were always ready to help. We had a great stay in Luxembourg and would happily return.

Rafael, the barman, made the evening extra special with creative cocktails and so much energy. He went above and beyond, and we had some of the best cocktails we’ve ever tried. The team also surprised us with a complimentary anniversary dessert, then arranged a private tour of the stunning hotel. Every part of Villa Pétrusse has taste, elegance, and personality. We had a wonderful evening at Ciel, inside Villa Pétrusse, a real hidden gem in Luxembourg City. The restaurant’s design and atmosphere were beautiful, elegant but welcoming, and the refined setting made the night feel special as soon as we arrived. Every dish was delicious, carefully prepared and full of flavor, and the wine list was thoughtfully put together by people who clearly knew it well. The staff were warm and attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. The service was some of the best we’ve experienced in Luxembourg so far. Ciel feels like the kind of place Luxembourg was missing, sophisticated, soulful, and full of heart. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Rafael was wonderful. He made the best pornstar martini we’ve had in Luxembourg, then took the time to show us around the hotel and explain its history. That tour made the evening feel even more special. We had a fantastic time at Ciel, the restaurant inside Hotel Ville Pétrusse. It’s like a modern glasshouse, full of light and greenery, with a calm, elegant feel right in the heart of Luxembourg. The food was excellent in both taste and presentation, and the service, setting, and food quality made it one of our best experiences in the city. Highly recommended, we’ll be back.
