The breakfast covers the basics, and there's parking at the hotel. It's right in the city centre, with roomy rooms and genuinely friendly staff. Just keep in mind there isn't a lift, and the pillows could be more comfortable.

The location is right in the centre, and the service is warm and welcoming. I think this is the best hotel in town. If you can book a suite, I'd choose one, since the standard rooms could use a bit of refurbishment.

There’s no lift, and taxis can’t get to the hotel. The breakfast is very basic, and using a balcony in winter costs an extra €20 🥶. This used to be a good hotel, but it isn’t anymore. I wouldn’t book directly because the receptionists seem to have a very poor memory.

The room was clean and snug, with lovely views over the square and lots of light from the windows. It even had an electric kettle, which I loved. We spent a few days here and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is cute, and its location puts you right in the heart of the city centre. The staff were patient and friendly as we tried to manage in English and Russian, and breakfast was delicious. I’ve got nothing but good things to say. If I end up in Daugavpils, Latvia again, I’ll stay here.

The bathroom gets chilly, especially the tiled floor, because its only heater for towels is switched off. Some rooms have balconies, which are handy for smokers, and there are loads of TV channels. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable, right in the city centre. I'd give it four stars because the floor in my room squeaked.
