Light House Jurmala

The restaurant is still one of the very best in Jūrmala, and the boutique atmosphere is just as cosy as ever. We were happy to return to Lighthouse Hotel, and this definitely won't be our last visit. With only a few rooms, it feels peaceful and special. The service is incredible, and the sunsets and sunrises are magical. Thanks again for making such a beautiful place. We always leave feeling recharged and inspired.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were welcoming and really friendly, which I appreciated. Still, I was a little disappointed not to get what I'd ordered. It wasn't a huge deal, but I had been looking forward to my original choice. I hope they pay closer attention to those details in future.

We waited more than an hour and a half for our food, and the staff had been rude and rolling their eyes since we arrived. When we asked for the manager, he came over with the same unacceptable attitude and no apology. The service was awful, the staff arrogant, and the whole thing lacked professionalism. We won't return and strongly advise others to avoid this place.

The view was good and the food had plenty of flavor, which is why this gets two stars rather than one. Otherwise, it was a big disappointment. We'd heard good things and looked forward to eating there, but the value for money was worse than anywhere else we've tried in Jurmala. We waited 85 minutes for pork ribs and beef fillet, got cold, and were ready to leave at the 90 minute mark. When the food arrived, the ribs were four small, lukewarm pieces, and the beef fillet wasn't especially tender. Nobody apologized or offered compensation for the long wait.
