Zanzibara Camping

A good spot for kids, with clean toilets and a little kitchen for cooking and washing dishes. There are grassy pitches, and you can empty the chemical toilet and grey water tanks, then refill fresh water. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost. Payment is cash, preferably, or PayPal. I didn't try the showers, but they looked fine. The Wi-Fi wasn't working.

The staff and bunnies were both friendly, and there's plenty for kids to do. Call first, though, since the big playground can be booked for children's parties and unavailable. It's a small place, but has what you need for camping or a campervan, including a kitchen with a large sink, gas stove and utensils. The showers have a separate spot to hang clothes so they can stay dry. Great with kids!

We had fun sleeping on the water, and there are pigs and rabbits in the yard too. The area has lots to do, some activities free and others paid. It's a really nice place for a good price. Not centrally located, but works well if you're traveling by car.

The surrounding nature was nice, but I wouldn't rate this camping spot highly compared with others we visited on our trip. Dogs next door barked in the evening and through the night, right by our tent. It cost 35 euros for one night in a tent, and the transaction fee made it very expensive because the owner had no card terminal. There were lots of flies around the kitchen and bathroom, which felt a bit unsanitary.
