The room was clean, with white bedding, and the hotel sits in the city centre by shops and a park. We could use a kettle, fridge and dishes in the corridor, though breakfast wasn’t available. We didn’t use the WiFi or watch TV. The bathroom tap was loose, and water ran onto the floor and into the bin. The walls are very thin, so you hear everything next door, especially at night. The floor creaks loudly too, and the ventilation sounds like a turbine. You can stay here for the night, but getting sleep is another matter. There aren’t many hotels in Valka, so I guess you have to make do with what’s available.
