Juras Mols

It seemed nice enough at first, but once we got to the room things went downhill. The bathroom was dirty and the room looked awful. We asked the manager to clean the bathroom, but it never got done. The rental bikes were terrible too. By the end, the whole place felt like hell. I'll never come back, and wouldn't recommend even considering it. Not worth the money at all.

Our room was clean and the linen was fresh, but the space was really cramped for four people. We stayed upstairs while the kitchen and dining table were downstairs, so cooking and eating meant constantly going back and forth. The trash wasn't collected for three days, and we had to take it out ourselves and ask for a bag. They only provide bottled water because the tap water smells bad.

The building's water smelled awful, and sometimes at night there was a really unpleasant septic tank smell too. Even so, I'd still recommend Juras Mols. It's near the beach, with several interesting places to visit around there. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, making it a nice family holiday spot. It felt a little cramped, but the terrace with its chairs, table, and umbrella helped make up for that.

The beach and clean water were the main reason we drove all the way from Jurmala. Maksim was friendly and helpful when we arrived late, welcoming us at 11 pm and explaining how to reach the beach, shops, coffee shop, fish market, and other places. The yard isn't flat and is hard to get around, especially with small children, and there's nothing for them to do there. If you want the kids to play on their own while you relax with a glass of wine, this probably isn't a good place to stay. We booked for two adults and children aged 6 and 13. The rooms are very small, though the summer clothes were clean. Only one of the four towels was a full-size bath towel; the others were hand towels. The shared kitchen was convenient, but the toaster was broken and the fridge and microwave were really dirty. The dishes are communal, and people don't always wash them properly after using them. Tap water isn't drinkable and smells bad.
