A handy, clean place with good equipment and comfortable enough beds. The location is great, and it works well for a short stay or a trip with friends when you're trying to save some money.

My room was cosy, but being right under the roof made it unsuitable for tall people ;). There was a bit of a smell, and the mattress seemed old and no longer very comfortable. The room was clean. The reception felt a little cool, though. I did book what was probably the cheapest option available, and I'd return for one night in Liepāja.

The room was dirty, the towels were old, and the fridge didn't work. Getting there was a struggle too: we were travelling with kids and arrived an hour later than expected, but the owner refused to let us stay. After an hour of going back and forth, they finally agreed, but only if we paid extra in cash. There was no ATM or anywhere to get cash! We eventually worked out how to pay electronically through the front desk clerk's private account. The owner was very rude.
