Nika Apart Hotel

The location worked well for me, close to the train station and a reasonable walk from the centre. The room itself was clean and pleasant, though the bed may not suit you if your back is sensitive. The smell in the building when you walk in, though, was disgusting.

The room had plenty of space and was clean, but the mattress felt like a wooden floor, and bright light from the neighboring building shone in all night because there were no shutters or anything similar. The small shampoo and shower gel samples ran out in one shower, and the gel hadn't been replaced the next day. There was no conditioner either. There wasn't a reception to ask for help, and no place to leave luggage. For a supposed three-star hotel, I don't understand the lack of reception, breakfast, or luggage storage. There's no kitchen, just one kettle.

The room was nice, and it was easy to walk to the old city from this great location. In March, though, the shower turned chilly after starting out hot. Maybe that would be fine in summer, but it wasn't then. The bathroom fan and boiler were both noisy, and I would've liked a full-length mirror in the room.

It's in a very nice central spot, though naturally it's noisy. The room was fairly nice, but this felt like two separate apartments in a residential building, not a hotel, and there was nobody around at reception. My PIN was right, but the door was double-locked and wouldn't open. The people inside were stuck for almost an hour too. I called the owner, who shouted at me and couldn't fix it. Eventually someone opened the door.
