Park Inn by Radisson Residence Riga Barona

The location is ideal, close to everything yet in a very quiet area, and the cleanliness was beyond doubt. We loved the design, comfortable rooms, and beautiful lighting. The lobby was a great place to meet friends for coffee or a glass of wine. Jana, Tatjana, and Ieva at reception made things so easy for us with our small baby that we felt right at home. This is the best apartment hotel we’ve stayed in so far, a 10/10 and possibly the best place to stay in Riga. I’d recommend it for families with children, couples, or business trips. Hope we can come back soon. Thanks a lot!

The hotel itself was quiet and very clean, with an easy check-in and an apartment-style room. It’s close to lots of restaurants, a Rimi, two gyms, and the Galleria. There’s no self-service laundry, free parking, or fitness center, and be prepared to walk for parking. Depending on the room, outside noise can carry at night. The bedroom in the apartment got quite hot, and the air didn’t seem to circulate from the common area. The bedroom vent had lint buildup, so I suspect it wasn’t working. Sometimes the air conditioning smelled funny when it kicked on. Water got all over the floor when I showered, however I turned the shower head. It was a pretty okay place overall, but politely decline room 204 unless you want to hear every passing vehicle and conversation haha.

The room was amazing, and we had a really enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and nice, and I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re in Riga. Barona centrs is nearby for Rimi shopping, with Hesburger right outside and coffee shops along the street. There’s also a tram from Barona street. It’s about 15-20 minutes from the city center or old town.

The rooms and apartments feel fresh and modern, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. For a group of friends, a room with a terrace is great, since everyone can gather there for breakfast or a last drink while watching the sunset.
