Sky Apartments Riga

I got no rest here, and it ruined an important part of my vacation. This was easily my worst hotel stay, and I regret booking it. I chose it as a budget option, but it cost only a little less than much better rentals and wasn't worth half what I paid. A total rip-off. The listing said parking was included, but there was none available. The shower barely had warm water. The online photos were misleading too: the room wasn't nearly as clean as they suggested. It smelled stale on arrival, and the bathroom reeked of heavy mold, possibly from a washing machine that was still damp and dirty. I also found cigarette butts tucked into the window sill, despite the listing saying the rooms were non-smoking. The bed squeaked and was uncomfortable enough to leave my back hurting. The fridge right beside it made loud noises all night, and neighbours kept moving chairs, shouting, and walking along the corridor. The booking promised soundproof rooms, but a chimney hatch beside the bed didn't close properly, leaving the whole room feeling exposed and noisy. Do not try your luck here!
