The room was huge, with an enormous bed, and it was cleaned very thoroughly each day. Breakfast was tasty, with different hot dishes daily and plenty of cold options. The hotel is well placed for the 22 bus to and from the airport. I did have a few issues: there was no lock on the room door from inside, and the desk right by the bed made it easy to bump your head. There are also some very large steps at the entrance, plus steps inside since the elevator doesn't serve the half-levels between floors.

Tucked on a quiet little street close to the Old Town, the hotel is in a great spot. The staff were friendly and very efficient, and although the rooms are on the small side, they were still comfortable. The bathrooms have an old-fashioned style that might not suit everyone. The room rate was reasonable, and they also offer an airport shuttle.

Our room, number 16 on the fourth floor, was large, with two couches and a separate sleeping area, though there was no door between them. The toilet was fine, but there was no ventilation. It was also set back from the street, so even with a street party going on over the weekend, we didn't hear noise in the room. The hotel is very close to the city center. Breakfast was average.

Everything was close enough to walk to, and the staff were nice. Our room was clean and cozy, and you can rent a sauna there. Breakfast deserves a mention: lots of choices for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The pancakes with homemade jam were especially tasty, and the coffee was delicious, which you don't often find at hotels. The cook makes the baked goods herself, rather than serving ready-made products.

The staff made us feel welcome from the start, and our family had a lovely stay at ST Peter’s Boutique Hotel in Riga’s Old Town. We found the room spacious and really comfortable, with beautiful decor. It's a charming place for a family getaway, and we'd happily recommend it.
