The staff welcomed us warmly, and we had a very pleasant stay. Our room was tidy and comfortable, and breakfast was surprisingly great. Would recommend, 10/10! 👌

I couldn't get to Riga and sent them a polite note explaining that, asking if I could get a refund. I'm completely fine with not getting one, since it's entirely on me. What bothered me was that they never replied and simply ignored the message. The formal request through Booking was denied in less than 60 seconds, though :)

The woman at the desk was so kind and helpful when we arrived, which immediately put us at ease. The service was amazing. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and the Old Town is a 15-20 minute walk away. Breakfast had plenty of choice, the food was good quality, and there were lots of vegetarian options.

We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years, and the reception and restaurant staff have always been lovely and welcoming. This time, Sabīne really stood out. She helped arrange an extra night in Riga and stayed helpful and cheerful throughout, with a great sense of humour. A real asset to the hotel. Look out for Sabīne if you want exemplary service. Thanks, and Paldies. The location is good value for money, about a 15-20 minute walk from Freedom Monument, local parks, and the Old Town. Our twin room was comfortable and a good size for two, with comfy beds. It got a little hot even with the window open, but wasn't too uncomfortable, and there was some road noise.
