Kempings Liepene

A great campsite not far from the beach, with fair prices. I had solar power, so didn't need electricity. For the car and caravan, one child and me, I paid €5 for the car, €10 for an adult, and €5 for the child. The people working there were kind and nice, maybe the owner.

I came across this campsite while riding my motorcycle and looking for somewhere to crash outside the city. Part of the road in was unpaved, and I was told the site was full. There was still lots of space, though, and I liked that the owners don't try to pack the place full. I can't speak to the rooms, but the showers and other necessities are there if you're camping in a tent. If you can avoid peak times, you might get warm water in the shared outdoor showers. There aren't luxuries, but the essentials are covered, along with a few little touches the owners have thought of. The beach is about 300 metres away. Turn left for really wild stretches, or head right and you can walk for ages through wide open spaces. On a sunny day, to me, it was as good as beaches in Thailand. I love the wild nature around the campsite. There were still a few too many Lithuanians 😅, though they're everywhere these days 😅. I'm one myself 🤷‍♂️💩 The price surprised me. I think the motorcycle was €3, and the tent cost nothing, but it was on the higher side at €10 per person per night. Still affordable and worth it for me. I'm leaving now, but I know I'll come back as soon as I can. Experiencing this nature is a journey worth taking, and I hope it stays this way as long as possible ❤️🙏 Please take some trash with you when walking on the beach, or at least don't leave more 🙏 peace ✌️🤭 Thanks to the owners for making a place like this possible.

It's a peaceful spot near the sea, lovely even though it's not luxurious. The owner is very kind and helpful. There are lots of nice little details, places to eat, and plenty of room and equipment for children.

The woman was so kind and friendly. She helped me find clean drinking water and a spot to pitch my tent. The nature is incredible, and the beach is only a few steps away. A must for campers and nature lovers!
