The hosts were warm and ready to help, and the apartment felt clean and cozy. I could park in the lovely courtyard behind the barriers, and use the tables there belonging to the Ratsgalds restaurant. Ratsgalds is one of the top three restaurants in Ventspils, and the food was delicious. The sea is a little far to reach on foot, though getting there by car is quick. I was glad to find air conditioning too.
