The hostel itself was okay. The dorms felt a bit cramped, and breakfast was good, as long as you got there before it ran out. I had a bad experience with management, though. I’m travelling by bike and, since Poste Maroc was closed when I left on a Saturday, I asked the staff to send a box of spare parts farther along my route. I offered to cover the cost and compensate them for the errand. Two weeks later it still hadn’t been shipped. Management dodged my calls, causing more delay and expense. I waited five days for a box that never arrived. It was my poor judgment to rely on them, but the hostel staff’s very poor communication made things much worse.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the food was great. The location was amazing too. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

It was a great experience, and I loved the hostel cat and dog. The volunteers running the place were friendly, and it’s a nice spot to meet like-minded people. Beds could use individual lamps, and the bathroom floors sometimes got soaking wet, so that needs sorting. I’d also have loved a toaster.

We stayed as a couple and felt really welcome in this clean, cozy hostel with a great vibe. The staff were super friendly, the location suited surf beginners, and breakfast was very good too.

I’d give it one star. Booking.com lists it as four stars, which doesn’t seem right. There’s too much noise, and lots of dogs bark at night, so be careful.
